So I picked up one of the new aluminum custom kits from EKWB and had some basic questions to get the best experience, also they are AM4 compatible so yay :). My questions are: 1. Since the block surface will naturally have aluminum oxide is it's ok for me to knock that off with some steel wool or something to get the surface in better condition to be placed on the CPU/tim? 2. If the above would maybe improve thermal performance? 3. If say some good cryonaut Tim from grizzly would work ok with a block like that? 4. If I did happen to use a rad or a block that used copper if I regularly switched out the fluid(1 time every 90 days let's say) if everything would be ok if it had a good anticorrosion inhibitor in it like what EKWB includes? via /r/Amd http://ift.tt/2rzm4X9
