Slaving away as a Temp no longer. Looking for help negotiating my hire.

So, I've been working as a temp for a large (top 13) bank for 1 year and 1 month as a Recruiter. We converted over from a smaller (only in around 5 states) regional bank to this one.Along the way, we recently had a recruiter leave. I applied to her opening, which my manager told me to do. She's the Hiring Manager. In the interim while the position is filled, I've taken over the former recruiter's role entirely - took her two lines of business over, have been sourcing and hiring candidates, the whole 9.Prior to that I was working mostly as a Sourcer, cold calling and reaching out to candidates for a different line of business that receives a lesser flow of applicants. When I first started as a temp prior to conversion I had done a very good job at cleaning up a messy situation with their contact center and they decided to keep me on longer than the initial 3 months. I kept in getting extensions and added responsibilities.I started at $15/hr and negotiated a raise during my contract to $18/hr. My boss told me I'd be getting the offer soon, another recruiter is calling me at noon today to do a formal phone screen.I had received an offer from another company in March and was upfront with my boss and told her they offered me $42k (low for a Recruiter). She told me to ask for $50k. I'm not sure if she was BSing me so I'd stay, but it's what she said.If/when the offer is presented, how should I handle it? I know they're paying more than $18/hr for me because they'll have to pay the agency that owns my contract a standard markup (varies).Average for recruiters seems to be low to mid 50sI've only got about a year and 4 months experience, but I want to squeeze out as much as I can from the outset. How much should I ask for? Do I have some leverage? How should I negotiate? Please help!Thank you! via /r/personalfinance http://ift.tt/2rcOWBa
