Hello fellow incredibly flexible, joint issue sufferers! I have a question. Do any of you experience a cyst somewhere in your body that reoccurs, no matter what treatments you undergo? I've had a reoccurring (multi-chambered) cyst in my right knee, pressing against my MCL since 2009. I had it surgically removed (2011), an attempted drainage with cortisone (2013), an aspiration (2015), and every time, within months, the cyst will grow back and slowly get bigger. I've been in and out of Physical Therapy since 2009, and I ice and heat my knee after any exercise. Usually it just hurts and makes my knee ache/swell. I can't ride a bike or do squats, so i'm limited but not extremely. However, recently I was pushed and landed on my cyst, and parts of the chambers ruptured. I'm still in recovery and it happened about two weeks ago. I won't fully recover for a couple months. I was just wondering if anyone else experiences a cyst like this? I'm trying to see if it's an EDS problem or not. The knee orthopedist, with a 35 year career, said he's only seen one cyst like mine. But then again, not a lot of doctors deal with EDS cases. Also, it's not a baker cyst, if that is your first guess. It's mobile and always rests on the inside of my right knee. I'll be thankful for any input! :) via /r/ehlersdanlos http://ift.tt/2uaylnl
