OTA Updates Eating Data

I thought OTA updates were supposed to seek approval before downloading. My wife's LG G4 (bought from ting directly) received an update today that downloaded over data before prompting to install it. It put us into the next bucket of data which we don't always hit. Does anyone know of a setting that will force OTA updates to only download over wifi (is that even possible)? We're in range of trusted wifi 95% of the time, so it was really bad timing that this hit when she happened to be on data. via /r/ting http://ift.tt/2rpckeI
