Split nipple/extra skin, I honestly cannot tell what it is and could use some brief guidance on how to describe it?

I have read the FAQ about skin diagnosis, a diagnosis would be extremely helpful (but I know the rules), I just need help describing whatever this is so I have a general idea of what I'm dealing with. All help is extremely appreciated!Images: http://ift.tt/2sifo1g are completely baffled on what this is, I'm not sure if at some point her nipple was split (we do have a cat and once in a while they play a little too hard) or if possible she has a growth or something else. It's squishy and soft (almost feels as it's her fur, but it's not because it's squishy) and is very close to her nipple.Age: 7, 8 in a few months. Sex/Neuter status: Female, spayed before her first heat cycle. Breed: Golden Retriever Body weight: Roughly 40-50 pounds, she's small for a Golden. History: Never been pregnant, has never had any medical problems. Spayed when she was a puppy. Only problem she has, is she gets an allergic reaction/rash once in awhile from something outside about once/twice a year, it's nothing that's been super bad, it just makes her itchy and we've always been very good about treating when it occurs.
