My grandfather died two years ago today and he was one of the most important people in my life. He was always very supportive and loving to me. He escaped Yugoslavia (Croatia) running through the night until he reached Austria (getting caught three times and jailed before he finally escaped) so that he and my family could have better lives. He would come to almost all of my hockey games when I was a teenager, even when he was fighting a battle with liver cancer which he ultimately lost, and I cannot express the amount of gratitude that I have for the man. I would like to get a tattoo commemorating him over my heart (my first), probably of his signature or something similar. Could you guys give me any suggestions for other ideas of what I could get, or what I could add to the tattoo to make it less plain? Thank you for reading this wall of text and any input would mean the world! via /r/tattoos http://ift.tt/2rhtIpc
