It's down to one reason, really. The emphasis is on the 4k buzzword and not on making games more playable (frame rate). When I hop between my Xbox and my PC the first thing I always notice is how poorly most of the games perform. It's 2017. 30 or sub 30 should not be the standard in my view. I know many of you disagree and that's fine, I grew up with consoles and 30 was fine by me for many years as well. I know how it is.It's a shame because I think if they really wanted to innovate and improve the console market, they'd introduce just how important a 60fps target is for better gameplay and I think that they really would hook the "layperson" if they realised the difference. I feel like this is all due to a misunderstanding at the lowest level of tech savviness in the console market that probably constitutes the majority of buyers. It's a real shame.Anyway, I don't want to bring your E3 down, I've been a poster here in this sub for years and it's been a really great and positive place lately that's usually immune to most of the things that annoy me about reddit, but I wanted to play Devil's Advocate just so that MS knows that it's not a universally positive reception, and most importantly, why.If Microsoft's focus shifts with future boxes, great, and I'll be back! But for now I'm out. Thanks for all of the years of fun, Xbox.I hope you guys have a great time with the new hardware. And I mean that sincerely. via /r/xboxone http://ift.tt/2sRIcLf
