Am I considered a hero?

This one guy was talking about how he suffers from homosexual anxiety disorder online. He called his disorder hocd. He told me how gets anxious when the topic of homosexuality comes up. He thought he was turning gay even though he said he loved and had slept with women. I told him there was no such thing as hocd and that he was homophobic. I told him to stop making himself look stupid and to accept his homosexuality. He eventually suffered a mental breakdown and committed suicide. I helped to get rid of a homophobe from this world. I grew up around people like him, and I suffered from years of torment because I was gay. I am tired of homophobes always making fun of us and killing us. Am I a hero for doing what I did?
