I'm currently having a rewatch of the full mcu as it stands. I noticed something in season 1 episode 12.On the wall of valour in the SHIELD academy there are 5 distinct shield logos plus the SSR logo.One and only one is the "real shield" variant which ran from the aircraft carrier with the council after the fall from grace.So considering the lore of the show I assumed that there was one for each discipline, namely Science, Ops and Communications.But that would leave an extra one which doesn't fit and the newer logo wouldn't either.Any ideas? via /r/shield http://ift.tt/2tZs1wt
